Bangkok.

Hi guysssssss I'm back on blogger! If you've been following me on twitter/instagram : lusciouslies
you would have known that I went on a holiday with my girlfriend and her fam to bangkok!!! However my hauls were not up to expectations. Man.. there goes the saying where expectations and disappointments are in proportion. Anyway I did quite enjoy myself there though we didn't play anything at all, but oh well.. when there's shopping, it means everything. Ok back to my story!

My outfit of the day, airport fashion haha. The flight was 9am in the morning so we had to reach at 7am. And of course girls being girls, I had to give myself an hour of allowance to prepare and make sure everything is all ready before I leave, so getting someone with a screwed body clock up at such unearthly hour was really a chore.

So we reached the airport at 7am, thinking that we had all the time in the world, we had breakfast at Mac's and literally took our own sweet time. By then it was 8:35, me having nothing to do i went to read my air ticket and it read "gate closing at 8:30am" My reaction was wtf of course. Told Tingting's family and they said they haven't got their duty free stuffs purchased and her dad's upset tummy led him to the loo. The whole situation was a chaos. None of them seem to realise the urgency because it clearly stated that all passengers have to board the plane 15 minutes before the gates close (except for her bro and aunt). So the few of us just rushed to the boarding gate first and ask if they are closing the gates already and they said yes. We were all so terrified. Fortunately all of them ran back and we boarded the plane within the last 5minutes of closure and that was so close! It was a fun experience tho! haha

We touched down at around 1045-11am Thai time. Just in case you're not aware, Thai time is one hour behind sg so yeah it was kinda early. Something really unlucky happened as soon as we reached Bangkok and time got delayed and we only reached the hotel at 430pm. After we had some rest, we headed to Platinum mall! One of tingting's aunt from bangkok came and tour us around. Took the mrt and they used tokens instead of cards I found it fascinating. And the train was full of anime!

After shopping at Platinum mall, (we obviously didn't shop finish but was forced to leave) we took a boat to some night market.

What's Thailand without Pineapple rice and Tomyum? Haha. Didn't take much photos of the food.

Had a good buffet breakfast (oh i luvvvv buffet!!) we headed to MBK to get our nails done! On the way, we passed by this filming scene. Was really lucky cause we saw this famous thai actor and Tingting went crazy. (obviously not really famous enough cus i dont know his name haha) He look really good. But he was so cold, we were less than one arm length, that close to him and tingting's reaction was so big but he gave zero attention to her. So rude :( Anyway, bought something from the street, tingting's aunt said it taste good, but it was horrible.

After an hour of patience finally got my nails done!! tada!! Was so afraid that she wouldn't know what I want due to some communication problems but so glad she did! She was experienced as well! Got my extensions which costs me approximately SGD50. Mad cheap right?! If I were to get them done in sg, the price will be double.

Those flowers were 3D paint and they're gorgeous!! The flower details were so detailed that i can even see the veins of the leaves!! Mad love!

Headed to Chinatown and guess what? We actually saw Melvin there! What a coincidence!

Oh yes and halfway thru my trip, Gary ong actually whatsapp me saying : Hey It's raining the whole afternoon. You know what that means? tada!!!!

Knowing that I'm a huge fan of Mee Hoon Kuey, he thought I was in sg so he sent me this. HAHA sucha cute teacher i have there ^^

And I have no idea why is her face in my phone.

Oh and this street pork!!!!! Tastes soooooo good I wish i can buy all of them home!! You got to try them if you're there im serious.

Some statue Tingting's aunt told me to capture but I had no idea what it represents. The last day was rather tiring. Went to the airport at 1plus when my flight was at 6:10pm cus tingting and her fam had to fly off to other place in thai while me being the loner , had to fly back to sg alone. But was glad that Tingting's aunt accompanied me all the way till i check in :) On the plane I met this china lady, she was a leader of a tour. During the flight we talked quite a bit. She asked me about singapore, it was then i realised not only my chinese sucked, I had almost close to zero knowledge about singapore. She asked me besides merlion what do we have? I only knew about flyer lol... Omg what a shame :( But she's so kind and she look beautiful, we exchanged email and she said she will email me when she get back but I think she will forget me :(

Oh and the moment I reached home I fell terribly ill.. Must be that thai pork!! But its alright, it can be forgiven cus its tasty. :) Okay that's about it thank you for your time here, reading my boring trip. Oh well.. BYE x
